ALBERT GEORGE CHEDZOY 1892 - 1972

Albert George was the 3rd child of Albert Chedzoy and Sarah Dorcus Barrington, he was baptised at Stoke St Gregory on 20th July 1892. Albert George served in the first world war and came home unscathed. He married Beatrice May Dawster from Curry Rivel in 1925-6. They lived at Willey Road, Stoke St Gregory and had 3 children, Celia Mary baptised 8th January 1928. Reginald William baptised 27th September 1929 and Ruby born 1932.

Albert George worked mostly as a labourer, working with the Willows, and for the River Authority, with spells of Gardening and Grave digging.

Albert George died 15th February 1972 and Beatrice died 28th July 1974 age 78. They are both buried at Stoke St Gregory, see Stoke St Gregory Grave Stone Inscriptions.
