ELIZABETH HUGGINS

ELIZABETH HUGGINS 1824 - 1898

Elizabeth was the 2nd child of William Huggins and Ann Butler, she was baptised at Milton on 26th March 1824. Elizabeth appears on the 1841 census age 15 and living at home, she is still living at home on the 1851 census, unmarried aged 27 years. The Parish registers for Milton show that she had a daughter Emma baptised 26th May 1850, who died aged 9 months, the burial is recorded on 16th March 1851, 4 days before the 1851 census was taken. It must have been hard for Elizabeth to cope with her loss, as her sister Amy's son Henry aged 3 was living with them at the time. As far as I know Elizabeth never married.

Elizabeth died in 1898.
