ELLEN SCANES

ELLEN SCANES 1847 -

Ellen was the youngest and 6th child of Samuel Tuck Scanes and Mary Ann Wilcocks. She was baptised at Ide 22nd August 1847. Ellen married George Phillips a Grocer and widower from Exeter, son of George Phillips, at Ide church on 22nd June 1886. both signed their names, the witnesses were M.J. Cruse and Edward W. Scanes.
