LILIAN KATE SLATTER

LILIAN KATE SLATTER 1881 -

Lilian Kate was the first child William Slatter and Lucy Froud, she was born in 1881 at 70 Carnarvon Road, and she was baptised at St Giles, Reading on 5th June 1881. The family moved by the time her brother William was born 2 years later to Earley where 2 more brothers Herbert and Albert were born. The 1891 census shows the family had moved back to Reading and were living at 23 Awbery Terrace, also her uncle Heber and aunty Minnie were living with them, Lilian was 9 years old. 5 years later Lilian Kate's youngest sister Ethel Maud was born at 25 Orts Road, on Christmas Day. The family moved again to 27 Orts Road, and then to 107 Queens Road. 

Lilian kate married George Hoad. The Electoral Roll shows that they were also living at 107 Queens Road in 1918 and 1919. Lilian was a witness at Ethels wedding in 1919. George and Lilian were still living at 107 Queen's Road in 1925.
