LODER FAMILY TREE
I have recently spent some time looking at my research on this name. But the more I look into it, the more difficult it becomes trying to get back any further or in deed add to what I already have. The West Hanney Baptism Registers only give the fathers name. Also there was another family in Hagbourne with a father Francis and mother Elizabeth in the mid 1700's.
FRANCIS LOADER - 1759
Francis Loader lived in West Hanney, I don't know where or when he was born, or who his parents were. He married but again I don't know who to. I have found 2 children in the West Hanney Parish Registers, James baptised 29th May 1722, and Francis baptised 29th March 1725. It does seem that Francis was the vogue name of the time in this area. Francis died in 1759 and was buried at West Hanney on 24th May 1759.
FRANCIS LODER 1725 - 1762
Francis was born in 1725, 2nd son of Francis Loader, he was baptised 29th March 1725 at West Hanney. Aged 18 he married Elizabeth, (possibly Elizabeth Nors) on 9th June 1743 at Hagbourne. They lived in West Hanney where I have found 4 daughters baptised. Jane baptised 29th April 1753, Lydia baptised 1756, Betty baptised 14th November 1758 and Elizabeth baptised 27th July 1760. Francis died in 1762 and was buried 24th May 1762 at West Hanney.
LYDIA LODER 1756 -
Lydia was the 8th child of Francis Loder and Elizabeth (Nors?) she was baptised at West Hanney in the summer of 1756, the date has disappeared due to a raggity page in the register. Lydia married Abraham Butler by licence at West Hanney on 17th October 1780. They stayed in West Hanney and raised their family of 6 children, Lydia baptised 12th January 1783, Jacob baptised 8th January 1786, Elizabeth baptised 16th November 1788, Isaac baptised 7th July 1791, Sarah baptised 28th September 1794 and Ann baptised 29th October 1797.
