LUCY FROUD

LUCY FROUD 1857 -

Lucy was the first child of Thomas Froud and Emma Horn, she was born 15th August 1857 at Heckfield and baptised 4th October 1857. Lucy left home and went to live in Reading. She met William Slatter who worked at the Biscuit Factory. They married on 8th June 1878 at The Baptist Church in Kings Road, Reading by certificate. She was living at 6 High Street, Reading at the time.

Their first child Lilian Kate was born in 1881 followed by William in 1883, Herbert in 1886 and Albert in 1888. The next child was born 1896 Ethel Maud. The family moved around the Reading area quite a lot.
