MAY BAKER 1900 -

May was the fourth child of Charles Baker and Margaret Ann Jones, she was born 8th July 1900 at Pontypridd. When May was only 13 years old her father and 14 year old brother Charles were both killed in the Senghenydd Colliery explosion.

May married Ted Barnes and had a daughter Doris. May then married Frank Cutting and they had another 7 children. Pamela, Sylvia, Violet, Louvaine, Joyce, Edwin and Alan.

Sylvia Barnes emigrated to Australia and Edwin visited her, but he drowned during the visit.
