PEARCE FAMILY TREE

Pearce has been also been spelt Pierce in the Stoke St Gregory parish registers.

BERNARD PIERCE

Bernard married Joan Bartlet on 9th September 1696. They had 2 children, John baptised 2nd September 1699, and Joan baptised 22nd February 1702. Sadly Joan could not be their to see it, she was buried 2 days before on 20th February 1702.  Bernard married again to Ann Goune? on 6th January 1704. They had 3 children, William baptised 9th May 1704, Ann baptised 29th January 1706 and George baptised in July 1709, but little George died aged 1 year, and was buried 5th November 1710.

Ann died in 1714 and was buried 15th July 1714, I'm not sure if this was Bernard's wife or daughter. Bernard's daughter Joan died in 1728, and was buried 18th August 1728.

WILLIAM PEARCE 1704 -

William was the first child of Bernard Pearce and Ann Goune?, he was baptised at Stoke St Gregory 9th May 1704.  William married Alice Miller 17th April 1732. They had 4 children, George baptised 18th March 1733, John baptised 22nd December 1735, William baptised 24th July 1737 and Ann baptised 1st February 1740, she married Levi Chedzoy. William's wife Alice died a month later and was buried 8th March 1740.

William married again the following year to Mary Rowsell on 8th September 1741.
