ROBERT HUGGINS

ROBERT HUGGINS 1795 - 1870

Robert was the 6th child of John Huggins and Jane Barnes, he was baptised at Milton on 12th April 1795. He married Ann and so far I have found 3 children born at Milton, Jane, baptised ?, Mary Ann baptised 27th May 1826 and Eliza baptised 26th April 1829. The 1841 census for Milton shows the family Robert Huggins age 45 an Agricultural Labourer, Ann also age 45, Jane age 15, Mary also age 15 and Eliza age 12.

The 1851 census transcript by Berkshire Family History Society shows the family living at Milton. Robert Huggins head, aged 57, Agricultural Labourer, born at Milton. his wife Ann aged 59, born at Drayton. daughter Jane, aged 25, unmarried, born at Sutton Courtenay, and daughter Eliza, aged 22, unmarried, born at Milton.

Ann died aged 71 and was buried 6th March 1868 and Robert died aged 75 and was buried 20th September 1870.
