WOODGER FAMILY TREE

My thanks to Janet Woodger for some information supplied on Thomas Woodger senior.

THOMAS WOODGER

Thomas married Mary ?, They had 2 children that I have found Thomas baptised 17th June 1710 at Frensham, and John was baptised 26th October 1716. The Parish registers at this time only give the fathers name. Thomas was buried 28th July 1767, his wife Mary was possibly buried 14th February 1766, there is another burial for Mary Woodger 20th May 1758.

THOMAS WOODGER 1710 -

Thomas was baptised 17th June 1710 at Frensham. He married Ruth Nightingell on 1st July 1741 at Witley. Their daughter Mary was born the same year. I have found 3 more children baptised at Frensham, John baptised 25th July 1747, Sarah baptised 3rd August 1750 and George baptised 8th August 1757. Again the Parish registers only give the fathers name. They may also have had another son Thomas, who baptised 3 children between 1773 - 1777 also at Frensham.

Ruth died in the summer of 1780 and was buried at Frensham on 8th June 1780. Thomas died 5 years later and was buried on 19th December 1785.

MARY WOODGER 1741 - 1819

Mary was born about 1741. She married John Remnant a widower at Frensham on 24th January 1775. They had 2 children, their son George was baptised 17th April 1775 and their daughter Sarah was born 27th November 1776. Mary outlived her husband by 2 years and died aged 78, she was buried at Frensham on 19th November 1819.
