When her parents moved to Llantwit Major she went  as well, then later moved to Llanblethian with them, where she met Edgar Chedzoy. They were married on the 22nd September 1932 at Llanblethian Church. Her father William Henry had died six months before. Lilian had 3 children, Brenda Lilian, Joan who sadly died the same day and then Shirley Lorraine my mother. Lilian had always had troublesome periods and in 1942 she went into hospital to have a Hysterectomy, the operation was successful and she was allowed to go home, whilst getting ready she slipped on the floor and started to haemorrhage, she died as the doctors could do nothing. My mother was only five when this happened. Lilian is buried in Llamblethian church yard with Edgar and close to her parents. see Llamblethian grave stone inscriptions.
